Mr. Fantuzzi has over twenty years of industry experience. Prior to co-founding TPRV, Mr. Fantuzzi spent ten years at Harvard Management Company (“HMC”). Mr. Fantuzzi started as a senior portfolio manager at HMC in 2007 before becoming co-head of HMC’s Tufnell Park Relative Value team with Mr. Toscani in 2009. Mr. Fantuzzi began his career in 1997 at UBS as an analyst on the hedge fund coverage desk in the fixed income division. In 1998, Mr. Fantuzzi joined Morgan Stanley’s Derivative Products Group as an analyst and was promoted into a senior role on the Interest Rates Strategy team. In 2002, Mr. Fantuzzi moved to Morgan Stanley’s Tokyo office to help manage the Japanese Rates Strategy Group and to head the USD Rates Strategy Group in the Asian region. In 2003, he became the head of the Global Interest Rates Strategy group in Morgan Stanley’s New York office where, as Executive Director, he managed three teams located in New York, Tokyo, and London and focused his strategy efforts on the global rates markets. Mr. Fantuzzi graduated with a BS in Physics Engineering and Business Administration from Washington and Lee University in 1996 and was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to conduct research on Singapore’s development as a financial center.

Mr. Toscani brings twenty years of industry experience. Prior to co-founding TPRV, Mr. Toscani joined HMC as the co-head of HMC’s Tufnell Park Relative Value Team with Mr. Fantuzzi. He also became a Managing Director in 2011 and a member of HMC’s investment committee in 2015. Mr. Toscani began his career in 1996 as a European Strategist at Lehman Brothers’ Financial Strategies Group in London and contributed to the development and marketing of the Lehman Brothers’ Global Asset Allocation Model. He transferred to Lehman Brothers’ Tokyo Office in 1999 as the head of the relative value strategy Group. Mr. Toscani also managed the e-FI Analytics Team in charge of the electronic platform providing internet-based FI analytics and the JGB pricing engine for electronic trading. In 2001, Mr. Toscani joined Deutsche Bank in Tokyo as head of Relative Value research where he continued to develop and market relative value strategies on liquid yen fixed income products for global hedge funds. In 2004, Mr. Toscani started his trading career in the London-based Deutsche Bank proprietary trading group and managed a relative value portfolio through diversified market-neutral strategies focused primarily on Japanese fixed income products before moving back to Japan to set up and run the Deutsche Bank Tokyo Proprietary Trading Group. Prior to joining HMC, Mr. Toscani joined Fortress Investment Group (“FIG”) in Tokyo as Managing Director in charge of FIG’s Asian Fixed Income Relative Value Portfolio. Mr. Toscani holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Quantitative Studies with first-class honors from the University of Venice. He was awarded a Scholarship for Academic Excellence to complete his degree at University College London and graduated in 1996.
